PRE-RETREAT COACHING
In the months leading up to your race, you'll receive weekly coaching sessions where we'll implement and discuss a realistic training regimen based around your busy life. We'll answer any questions you have about getting the right equipment, proper nutrition, and most importantly, work together so you're more than ready for your first IRONMAN 70.3.
We leave our egos at the door and get honest with ourselves. Together, we work through any obstacles that you may be facing in your training and your personal life. This journey is about becoming your best self. Not some overnight gimmick that promises fast results. This journey will stay with you for the rest of your life.
Swim, bike, run...we've got this.
THE BISON RETREAT
This isn't a "quick fix retreat". You've been dedicated to your training for months now. With the help of your Bison Coach, you're ready for IRONMAN 70.3.
What now? Together, we prep for your first major triathlon. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. We gather at the retreat location, near the race, and enjoy three days of camaraderie and brotherhood before the big day. We ensure our bikes are dialed in. We plan our nutrition for pre-race, race day, and post-race. We pamper ourselves with meditation and self care. We open up and learn from each other.
The day before the race, we experience the IRONMAN check-in process together. That evening, we eat a healthy meal and mentally prepare for what's ahead...IRONMAN 70.3.
RACE DAY
We wake up bright and early, have a nutritious meal, and head to the starting point. Our bikes are set, running gear is ready, all nutritional needs are prepped. The only thing left to do?
Start your first IRONMAN 70.3.
The months of training and mental fortitude take over and you're on your way to the finish line. Complete strangers will be cheering you on, wishing they had what you have...grit. They'll wish that for the rest of their lives.
You and your Bison Brothers will have accomplished what less than 0.01% of the population has even dreamed of. It's a day filled with trials, mental and physical. It's a day of sweat and tears. It's the day you reclaim your best self and become proud of the man you've become.
ABOUT BISON TRIATHLETES
Ty Butler, Bison Triathletes founder, was a homeless rock-bottom alcoholic just a few short years ago. At 6'2", he drank himself down to 150 lbs, lost his children, lost his wife, his dogs, his job...the solution was suicide. By the grace of God, he was saved and given a new lease on life through sobriety. He had to change his identity and evolve into the man he always knew he was meant to be. He found sanctuary through AA, constant personal growth, spirituality, and triathlon.
He signed up for a 1/2 triathlon and with a month of training, made it to the finish line. Two short months later, he completed his first Full IRONMAN...his new addiction was born.
Now, Ty's mission is to reach men that may be struggling with addiction, mediocrity, a lack of worth, or are simply tired of the man they've become and show them that it's never too late to become the men they are destined to be.
